Our Commitment to Quality

The quality of products and services from all manufacturing locations of our Group is an essential part of our corporate strategy. Our prime objective is customer satisfaction. For us quality means to recognize and to satisfy our customers’ needs and to fulfill all agreements reliably. Furthermore, quality also means ensuring competitiveness and thus securing our future.
The continuous improvement and control of all processes in all our Business Areas result in flawless product quality and in a high level of value for our products. Moreover, it enables us to provide an excellent quality in logistics and services and guarantees an attractive priceperformance ratio. Our quality management system always complies with current international standards.
For our quality programs we set high objectives, and it is the responsibility of our management to reach all these targets. They ensure the continuous promotion of the idea and the concept of quality among their employees.
The reliable mastering and the continuous improvement of all processes are the main focus of our efforts. All employees are expected to direct their day-to-day activities to our most important goal: total customer satisfaction.

All functional areas involved in planning, creating, maintaining, improving and ensuring quality are part of this system. All measures within the quality system are geared to deliver excellent products and to ensure optimum customer benefits.

Adherence to legal requirements
Compliance with all country-specific legal regulations and provisions as well as international requirements is an imperative rule for the company.
We continuously follow up on changes and updating of relevant documents and adjust our processes where necessary. Besides the legal management requirements it applies in particular to health and work safety as well as energy and environment.

Process mastering by TQM
Continuous improvement programs for quantification and qualification of existing process tolerances as well as for permanently increasing quality levels and production volumes are implemented in all our Group companies.

Systematic management and control of processes through clear definition of responsibilities, documentation of process sequences and a controlled tracking of results are part of our daily work.
Yearly supervision and evaluation of the development of quality, and compliance with envi-ronment standards as well as health and work safety, is under the responsibility of our top management.

Innovation
Our utmost targets are product development projects and services, which put customer needs in their center. We determine such customer needs in collaboration with our custom-ers and perform the appropriate services reliably.
We aim to provide the necessary resources and encourage creativity and individual respon-sibility in the workforce.

We focus on continuous optimization of the following input factors: material, capital and hu-man resources. Regular training and specific education ensure that we can always operate adhering to the latest technical standards.
